Summary

The Claims Coordinator will be charged with the responsibility of coordinating the claims activities of the Company. Specifically, he/she will oversee claims handled by the Company, with particular focus on the major, complex and important claims. Set up the office of the Claims Coordinator, with its immediate and long terms goals and objectives in the Company.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in the adjustment of all major, complex or important claims.
• Review the reports of Adjusters, Engineers, etc. and make appropriate recommendations.
• Undertakedetailed review of claims adjustments and settlement offers received frominsurers and adjusters and adjustmentto ascertain equity and fairness for the client.
• Monitorthe progress of claims and follow through to settlement.
• Ensure the customer receivesexcellent customer experience on each and every claim, in keeping with thecompany Vision.
• Review filesof settled claims to ascertain that thehandling and processing conformed to standards and that they were disposedof to the reasonable satisfaction of the clients at all times.
• ConstructCase Studies of all major and complex claims processed and settled for clientsas well as claims declined, giving full details in the case of declinature.
• Preparation of Claims Experience for majoror strategic clients’ programmes.
• Handle and resolve all claims complaintsand disputes professionally

Requirements

​ Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Arts, Law or any related field.​

​Minimum of 7 years’ cognate experience from a reputable Insurance Broking Company.​

· Associateship of the CII Nigeria or CII Londonwill be an added advantage.

·Practical demonstration of ability tolead engagements and client relationship management is

desirable.
